Sumner Shortcuts is all about making life in Sumner County easier.
For some of you, that may mean the most up-to-date list of the cheapest gas prices in the area.
For others, that may be a list of the local WiFi hotspots.
Some of you may be more interested in what kind of Health Inspection Score your favorite restaurant just received. Or the most common places where police speed traps are likely to catch you driving too fast. Or area consumer alerts that detail real customer service stories in our area (good and bad).
Still more of you are likely to prefer the daily posts to our Strange category, where we opine on the oddness of various local marquees, signs, craigslist posts, roadside sales, and more.
But regardless of what your personal reason for visiting this site, we have set out to make it something useful… something fun… something interesting to our neighborly Sumner County citizens. If you think of something we aren’t covering that may be of interest to our readers, please don’t hesitate to let us know by emailing us at SumnerShortcuts(at)gmail(dot)com. We love hearing from our readers.
In fact, our readers are the lifeblood of this site. We spend most of our days and nights in and around Hendersonville, and we don’t always get out to Gallatin, Portland, White House, or the other fine areas in Sumner County. But this site is for those cities too. So if you live in one of those areas, and you spot a low gas price, a new WiFi hotspot, a hilarious misspelling on a business marquee, or anything else you think we might find funny or interesting. We’ll be happy to post it, give you credit, and then enter your name in our monthly drawing for a “Dinner and a Movie” prize-pack.
