Folks, we may be in the midst of a slow-down in the rise in gas prices.  We’ve had $3.86 gas in Sumner County for just about a week now, and that’s nothing to sneeze at. Even as recently as a month or two ago, the prices were rising three times a week or more.  Enjoy it while you can, because it’s going to go up again.

Right now this second, you can head to Hendersonville to the Mapco at Center Point Road or the Phillips 66 station at Main & Mallard to get regular unleaded gas for $3.86.  Those of you in Gallatin want to hit up the Kangaroo station on Airport road–which seems to consistently be the lowest price in town–they have $3.88 a gallon.
