The Mapco in Gallatin, on Greensboro Drive, is the king of the heap today.  While everyone else in the county has jumped up to $3.88 or higher, this station stays pat at $3.86.  And if you’re anywhere near that station, and need some gas, I’d zip over and top off the tank.

The odds of any station running unleaded at $3.86 a gallon for much longer are pretty slim.  In fact, the next four slots on our “Cheapest Gas” chart are all at $3.88.  You can find that price at the Mapco or Dodges Store, both at the intersection of Main Street and Center Point Road, or at the IGA Express (Keystop) or the Phillips 66 at Main & Mallard.

The average for Sumner County is well over $3.90.
