aaaa, that’s a shame. Gallatin has spent all those millions buying super high performance police cars, police Harley Davidsons, police dirt bikes and high voltage tazers for the sole purpose of chasing and tasering the outlaw criminal families (and their little dogs too) who attend the 4th celebration, only to find out it has been canceled. Now don’t get me wrong, nothing against the cops, you know they love all the new toys. So what shall Gallatin do with all that abundance of overly priced useless cop equipment? How about trading a few unnecessary items off, like those Harley Davidsons, to pay for something more community minded…like fireworks and community activities.
Better yet. Why don’t we all just take our local business to Hendersonville? This way, we can help pay for THEIR fireworks, no one will get chased by those souped-up police cars, our kids and dogs will be safe from their new tazers and maybe the Gallatin officials will see how stupid they look spending our money on Cop toys rather than making efforts to bring our community together with civic activities.

I hate to say it but you are wrong. Pokemon toys, games and cards are still HUGE with kids. Where we live every kid in my child’s class and in other classes they go over the moon for Pokemon stuff. Hate to take the wind out of your snarktastic sails but there you go.

I agree. Much less dangerous but just as frequent is DRIVING WITHOUT INSURANCE. We all pay extra to cover those that don’t have insurance.
