Gas, Gas, Gas! It’s All Anyone In Nashville Wants To Talk About

The race for gas is on again, as the panicky idiots merge with the level-headed citizens (who by now actually have empty tanks) at the pumps.
Here in Hendersonville, most stations are still without gas. There is an Exxon on 31E at Rockland Road that has lines
And there’s a Shell station on Walton Ferry Road that is getting a
delivery right this second, and there are already cars lining up
Ugh.
This thing is an avalanche, just perpetuating itself.
There is, however, finally something to laugh about regarding this gas crisis… a funny mash-up video some local citizen made by overdubbing the subtitles on a German-language film about Hitler. Doesn’t sound funny? Trust me… it is. (Warning, there are some swear words in the subtitles, though most of them are blotted out with asterisks–and all are text-based…the spoken words are all in German). Enjoy:
Oh, and take our poll:

There’s more than one cause for this catastrophe, as usual. But you’re right… Nashvillians are a panic-driven lot.

Yeah, the video is hilarious. I’m unsure of the author. The movie clip made the rounds with a handful of different subtitles a few weeks back… it was quite the popular hit. But this new version is just shy of genius. I can’t stop laughing no matter how many times I see it.
