I have seen this sign (below)many times when driving down New Shackle Island Road.  Never had a camera handy until today.

Listen, I know that everyone wants their own rooster.  After Playstations and skateboards, it’s the most-asked-for item on children’s Christmas lists.  Playstations, skateboards, and roosters.

But is it really an impulse buy?  Is anyone driving down the road thinking, “Man, oh, man I hope there’s someone selling a male chicken alarm clock.  I just gotta have one right now!”?  I don’t think so.

But maybe that’s just me.  At any rate… if you need a rooster, go see this guy.  He has regular, non-rooster chickens too, apparently.
