Taking The Pulse Of Sumner County Politics

Sumner County News, Sumner Politics

Election Day is nearly upon us, just over a month away.  That likely means that many of you have already made up your minds.

Those of you who haven’t will probably be tuning into tonight’s first Presidential Debate–which is “back on”, for those of you who hadn’t heard.  I’ve already made up my mind… mostly… but I’m tuning in nonetheless.

It’s a shame these things are so structured and scripted, because they don’t really do as much as they should in letting us citizens get a really good glimpse into what the candidates are thinking.  Within minutes of the debate’s close, we’ll be hearing about who won and who lost it–as though that’s a complete objective thing to decide and not at all up to the beholder.  Oh well.  It’s still the best chance we’ll have to see them talking about the same issues at the same time.  And what else have I got to do tonight anyway?

I think I have a fairly good idea how this will turn out, but I thought it would be fun to conduct a totally accurate and scientific poll on who Sumner County residents plan to vote for in the race for President of the United States.

So, cast your vote below.

Who will get your vote for President?
